We are looking for a Product Owner Banking Cards to lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of debit, credit, and disposable card products. This role combines strategic product ownership with hands-on delivery and requires a strong understanding of the cards business, customer needs, and emerging payment technologies.

As a key member of the product team, you will own card-related innovations, work closely with internal and external partners, and help drive growth, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role spans product design, operational coordination, digital integration, and ongoing optimization across multiple markets.

What You’ll do:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for debit, credit, and prepaid card products.

  • Align the cards portfolio strategy with business goals around acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.

  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to guide product direction.

  • Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation in digital and physical card services.

Product Development & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end development of card features including issuance, activation, limits, security, loyalty, and rewards.

  • Collaborate with vendors, payment schemes, processors, and internal tech teams to build and deploy new functionalities.

  • Define product requirements, manage backlogs, and oversee Agile delivery processes.

  • Ensure seamless customer experiences across digital and branch channels for card usage, management, and support.

Lifecycle Management

  • Manage product lifecycle from launch to sunset, ensuring ongoing performance, relevance, and compliance.

  • Monitor KPIs including transaction volumes, usage rates, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

  • Coordinate campaigns and cross-sell strategies in collaboration with marketing and CRM teams.

Risk, Compliance & Operations

  • Ensure card products comply with local and international regulatory requirements and scheme rules.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain high standards of security and governance.

  • Support operational teams with clear processes for card issuance, disputes, chargebacks, and replacements.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders on card-related topics.

  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including card schemes, processors, and fintechs.

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and results across departments and leadership.


Job requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.

3+ years of experience in product management or ownership, preferably in the cards or payments industry.

Strong understanding of debit, credit, and disposable card products, payment processing, and card scheme operations.

Experience working with card management systems, processors, and digital banking environments.

Familiarity with risk, compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute management in the cards space.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver high-impact features in Agile settings.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English required.
